GO, PAT, GO!!! Congratulations to Pat Sheehan of 027 Couriers who took part in the Killarney Adventure Race on Saturday 8th October this year. It was Pat’s very first attempt at such an event which involved cycling 35km, kayaking 1.8km, and running 14.5km. Pat finished in a very respectable 15th position in his category. Well done Pat! What a wonderful achievement. |
TOUR DE FRANCE Well done to Donal Harrington for completing the route of the Tour de France on his Life Cycle in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. A fantastic achievement and a worthwhile cause. |
BREAKING NEWS We take great pleasure in announcing our upcoming plans for Spring/Summer 2012 - BEARA BIKE TOURS The name says it all!!! We aim to provide fully supported cycling tours of the Beara Peninsula to groups/individuals who just which to cycle/explore and not have to worry about booking B&B’s or finding a good restaurant. We will take the hassle out of holidaying!! Plans are well underway and full details will follow shortly… |

NEW TO BIKE N BEARA - KAYAKS! We now stock a variety of kayaks and flotation devices. Kayaking is a fun sport for young and not so young! Picture the scene — a glorious summers afternoon (yes, summer will come!!), the sun is high in the sky, the sky is blue as far as the eye can see and the water is lapping gently as you kayak up the shoreline and out towards the harbours mouth… It's just you and nature. Could anything be more delightful? Call in to us and view our kayaks. We live in such a beautiful part of the country, it's a shame not to explore and enjoy what's right on our doorstep. |
BEARA CYCLING CLUB Beara Cycling Club is officially up and running. The Club members cycle every Sunday morning during the winter/spring, and twice weekly at least during the summer months. Weekends away for cycling events are also numerous during the summer months, as well as day trips. New members are always welcome. Call in to us today to find out more. |
