While we feel that the Beara Peninsula has the best of everything to offer visitors and urge you to visit and experience it for yourself, we can't deny that the nearby peninsulas of The Sheep's Head and Mizen are also extremely beautiful and well worth a visit. If you've got the time then to cycle the three peninsulas would be an awesome holiday. You can hire bikes from us in Castletownbere or Bantry and let the road take you where it will..... Luggage transfer can be arranged by request and we are happy to advise you on planning your break in this special corner of Ireland.
Our bikes are a mix of Giant Escape 3/Liv Alight 3 hybrid bikes. We find these are very well suited to a leisurely trip around Beara on her roads and hills. Helmets are provided with the bike plus a lock.
Prices are €15 per bike per day
€40 per bike for 3 days
or €80 per bike per week (7 days).
Special rates available for groups of 6 or more.
Talk to us if you require your baggage transferred. We can deliver bikes to your accommodation if you wish. An additional charge may apply depending on your location.
We strongly advise booking your bikes in advance to guarantee availability. Contact us here.
Who knows where the road will lead you?

We hope you enjoy this snippet of film of the local MTBers exploring on Dursey Island. The scenery is breathtaking. Remember you too can explore this wonderful island by bike as bikes can be carried on the cable car. Video courtesy of John Elphick.
